Statement Sleeves for '26 Brides
From Modest To Victorian-Inspired

New York Bridal Fashion Week is around the corner so it’s time to gear up and get you guys excited about what might be coming down the runway next month. Every season there are a few trends that transcend designers and so far, it’s looking like the sleeves are where it’s at.
Here’s a sneak peak from three couture bridal designers that are guaranteed to elevate the classic white wedding dress.
Rish Bridal S/S ‘26
In the last decade, body hugging trumpet styles featuring softer overskirts and illusion lace have become a staple and you’ll be hard pressed to find a designer who won’t include at least a few styles that fit this format like Seraphina from Rish Bridal’s collection. But I love Muse which is a simple strappy sleeveless dress paired with a soft overcoat featuring carefully crafted gathered sleeves. It takes this from a pretty standard sheath to something far more elevated.
Rita Vinieris: Alyne SS ‘26
Rita Vinieris is a staple in the couture bridal fashion designer world, creating amazing designs season after season. The Alyne Spring/Summer ‘26 collection features a variety of eye catching styles including Oli which offers detachable bow sleeves that bring drama to a classic silhouette. Meanwhile, Poise is channeling a slight ‘80s vibe with the puffed off the shoulder bodice overlay.
Oksana Mukha S/S ‘26
I’ll always have a soft spot for a body hugging gown. But I also really love structured sleeves. Much of Oksana Mukha’s collection centers on body skimming structured trumpet silhouettes with illusion lace sleeves. If you like the with a structured shoulder then Maya is that girl. If you want to have a more dramatic moment and replace structured shoulders with floral appliqués at the wrist, then I suggest giving Almira a spin.
